Kingdom of Bahrain (Arabic: مملكة البحرين, Mamlakat al-Baḥrayn, literally: "Kingdom of the Two Seas"), is a small island country with approximately 800,000 inhabitants (2009), located near the western shores of the Persian Gulf and ruled by the Al Khalifa royal family. While Bahrain is an archipelago of thirty-three islands, the largest (Bahrain Island) is 55 km (34 mi) long by 18 km (11 mi) wide.Saudi Arabia lies to the west and is connected to Bahrain via the King Fahd Causeway, which was officially opened on 25 November 1986. Qatar is to the southeast across the Gulf of Bahrain. The planned Qatar Bahrain Causeway will link Bahrain and Qatar as the longest fixed link in the world.
Bahrain is known for its oil and pearls. The country is the home of many popular structures such as the Bahrain World Trade Center and the Bahrain Financial Harbour, and also the home of many skyscrapers, including the proposed 1,022 m (3,353 ft) high supertall Murjan Tower. The Qal’at al-Bahrain (The Ancient Harbour and Capital of Dilmun) has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[8] The Bahrain International Circuit is the race course where the popular Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix takes place.
Dengan kata lainnya Bahrain sebuah pulau yang dihubungkan dengan Saudi melalui sebuah rangkaian jambatan yang dikenali sebagai King Fahad Causeway.Imigresen kedua negara berada di bahagian tambak atas laut yang beberapa kilometer dari tanah besar kedua-dua negara.
Mula-mula dikenakan bayaran seperti tol kerana penggunaan causeway tersebut kemudian melalui imigresen Saudi,Kastam Saudi seterusnya ke Imigresen Bahrain dan Kastamnya.Kalau nasib tak baik trafic jam berjam-jam.
Ibunegara bahrain ialah Manama.Seperti negara-negara Arab yang lain yang menjadi kebanggaan mereka ialah senibina.Kebanyakan senibina bangunan di bandarnya adalah senibina Moden .

Setelah menikmati rekabentuk bangunan di manama kami pun singgah ke sekolah anak iaitu Bahrain International School yang tidak berapa jauh dari pusat bandarnya.
Tempat penginapan kami pun berada di tengah2 City Center iaitu Tariq Al Moayed Tower berharga BHD45 lebih kurang SR 450 semalam.
